We believe in absolute data privacy. MealTracker Pro operates primarily as an offline application.

Local Storage: All your meal logs, dates, times, and statistical data are stored securely on your local device using a Room database. We do not host your data on external servers.
Photos and Media: Photos you take, upload, or share from other apps into MealTracker Pro are saved directly on your device in an optimized WebP format. You can delete these photos at any time to free up storage.
AI Food Scanner: Our automatic food detection feature uses Google ML Kit. Image labeling and processing happen locally on your device. Your photos are not sent to external servers for AI analysis.

Device Permissions

To provide our features, the app may request the following permissions:

Camera / Media Library: To allow you to take photos of your meals or select existing images for logging and AI scanning.
Storage Access: To save your meal data and compressed images locally.

Third-Party Services

The app is built using the official Android Google ML Kit for image labeling. This library operates under Google’s standard privacy practices. We do not integrate with third-party advertising networks or data brokers.

Data Deletion

Since all your data lives strictly on your device, you have full control over it. You can edit or delete individual logs, remove photos, or clear all data instantly by uninstalling the application from your device.
